Texas Parent to Parent (www.txp2p.org) is hosting a peer support training in San Antonio on March 3rd at “Any Baby Can” 217 Howard Street.
Texas Parent to Parent serves parents with children with disabilities, chronic illness, and other special needs and is now expanding the program to specifically address parents of children with a hearing loss. If you are a parent with a deaf or hard of hearing child and are interested in participating – please call 866-896-6001 and register for the class.
We provide free childcare and lots of food throughout the day! Once you are trained you can help provide support to new parents simply through a few phone calls or emails. Here is a great opportunity to share your experience and knowledge with other parents and provide an invaluable service!
