Deaf Friendly Boot Camp

Hello, my name is Clay Chenault and I am a student at Austin Sign Language School. I am studying to become a certified interpreter for the deaf. I also take physical fitness (“workout”) classes at Austin Adventure Boot Camp. Stephanie McDonald is the owner of AABC and one of its instructors. We were recently discussing her desire to make AABC classes deaf and hearing impared friendly.

While I’m not yet a certified interpreter, I would be there to help fill the communication gap. Stephanie is really interested in providing an environment where the deaf and hearing impaired can improve their physical fitness and feel safe and welcomed. Please see AABC’s website at: http://www.atxbootcamp.com/. And please contact me or Stephanie if we can answer any questions or provide additional information.

Sincerely,
Clay Chenault
