Case Manager

Methodist Mission Home, a 112 year old non-profit agency serving adults with disabilities seeks an experienced Case Manager for a vocational rehabilitation program in San Antonio, Texas. Fifty percent of the residents on our 25 acre campus are deaf and many are challenged by multiple disabilities. We teach adults with disabilities the vocational and life skills they need to achieve their personal best. Within 12 to 24 months, residents are ready to transition into their own apartment and work full-time. Case Manager must have at least a Bachelors Degree preferably in a discipline related to rehabilitation/ counseling and/ or residential care and experience working in social service . Must have strong written, oral and communication skills and can exercise good decision making. Establish and maintain effective, professional rapport with sponsoring agencies and serve as the case expert for each assigned resident. Assist in resident staffing including medication review
with consulting psychiatrist. Assist in teaching Independent Living skills classes and related group sessions. Proficiency in the use of American Sign Language is required.
