Need students for Deaf ESOL Classes – Austin

Hi Folks!

There’s still time to register for our exciting ESOL Class for Deaf students this summer. If you are a recent high school graduate or have been away from college for awhile, or just want to improve your Reading Skills, we have the perfect class for YOU!

Classes start on Tuesday, May 29 from 1:25 – 4:00 pm. See the schedule below for more information.

If you are interested, PLEASE come to the RVS Campus on Tuesday May 29 to get signed up for the class. Since I will be off next week, you will need to meet with Lori Bowman for advising and registration…Thanks Lori J !

To be eligible for the Tuition Waiver, you must bring:

Certificate of Deafness from DRS or Audiogram not more than 3 years old
Letter of Recommendation from a Teacher, Counselor or other Professional

A short paragraph stating your goals and reason for attending ACC

This class will be lots of fun and a good way to being your college experience…both instructors are fluent in ASL and will team-teach the class so you will have plenty of attention and enjoy a fun way to improve your Reading Comprehension skills too!
