Calling all City of Austin employees, retired employees, and their families to enter the 5th Annual National Arts Program in Austin
The call is out to all City of Austin current employees, retired employees, and family members of employees to enter the 5th Annual National Arts Program art competition in Austin.
The National Arts Program currently has 78 programs in 43 states across the country. The concept of the National Arts Program is to provide an uninhibited opportunity for all people to present their talents, at whatever level, in a public exhibition, free to artists and the public.
The 5th Annual National Arts Program art exhibit for the City of Austin will be in September 2007 at the South Austin Senior Activity Center. Entry is free and each artist may submit up to two works. All artwork entered within the rules of exhibition will be exhibited. Cash prizes and scholarship awards will be given in amateur, intermediate, and professional adult categories, and in youth under 12 and youth 12-18 categories.
Registration forms are due by August 20, 2007, and artwork is due by September 8, 2007. For complete details or to request a registration form contact April Sullivan at VSA arts of Texas at (52) 454-9912 or [email protected], or download a form at www.vsatx.org.
