Self-Advocate, Getting The Job Done Workshop – DFW

The DALLAS ASSOCIATION OF THE DEAF and the DALLAS/FT. WORTH AREA DEAF AND HARD OF HEARING SERVICES are proud to announce the first of a series of Saturday mornings educational and empowering workshops!

Our first jointly sponsored workshop will be this coming Saturday morning, June 30th, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., at DAD.

The presenter will be HEATHER BISE and the topic of her workshop is BECOMING A SELF ADVOCATE, GETTING THE JOB DONE!

This workshop is free for everyone, Deaf/hard of hearing adults and teenagers alike.

Ms. Bise, DHHS/DARS Dallas Regional Specialist, will explain your rights, via ADA & how to improve your interview skills. She also plans to do some role playing, with the participants, via interactive interviews.

Light breakfast refreshments will be sold.
