Obituary: Clyde Black

Texas native, Clyde Black died at Midnight Thursday night. He was a former member of the Texas Commission for the Deaf and a past board member of Hearing Loss Association of America when it was known as SHHH. He will be missed by all of his friends. Texans with a hearing loss owe a big debt of gratitude to Clyde and Ouida Black.

A viewing for family and friends will be tomorrow evening, Saturday (21st), 4 to 6 p.m. at Hapner Funeral Home. It is on 9th and Barton Street in downtown Temple. Funeral will be in Paris Texas.

There will be a burial service at the Evergreen Cemetery located at Highway 24, just south of Paris, TX, at 11:00 AM, on Monday, July 23. The cemetery is very evident as you approach Paris and cannot be missed.
