This interactive workshop will review the factors to consider when
making the determination of when and if to disclose disability.
Participants will bring job descriptions in which they are interested
and during break out sessions determine the essential functions,
evaluate their own qualifications, and
develop, and practice, interview questions for the job.
Employment: Strategies for Conquering the Beast
Training for job placement specialist developing business relations.
Many people are intimidated by the notion of working directly with
employers in the community. This session will focus on strategies for
Conquering the Beast including: networking strategies, information
interviews, advice interviews, developing and fine-tuning that
pick-up line and team approaches to community job development.
