Christian author and speaker Anne Graham Lotz, daughter of evangelist
Dr. Billy Graham and the late Ruth Graham, will preach at First
Methodist Houston on Sunday, Sept. 9. Lotz will deliver a message at
the 9 a.m. worship at First Methodist Westchase, located at 10570
Westpark Drive near the corner of West Sam Houston Tollway feeder and
Westpark. She also will lead a two-hour Bible Study Workshop at 6 p.m.
at the Westchase location. Doors will open one hour before each event
and all services will have sign language interpreters.

Lotz is the founder, president and chief executive officer of AnGeL
Ministries. Based in North Carolina, AnGeL Ministries mission is to
serve God by evangelizing the lost and reviving the hearts of God’s
people in their relationship with Himself through exalting Jesus
Christ and proclaiming God’s Word. Lotz is the author of nine books
including Just Give Me Jesus and her most recent release, I Saw the
Lord. Her message from Isaiah is geared toward personal revival and
will be a call to serve those who are suffering, pressured, grieving,
in crisis or facing other problems.

We will be launching an eight-week church-wide Bible study based on
I Saw the Lord, explained Debbie Tipps, director of womens
ministries for First Methodist Houston. On Sunday night, Anne will
share her personal approach to daily devotions in a dynamic,
interactive Bible Study Workshop. We will learn how we can read Gods
Word in a way that lets us hear His voice speaking to us.

The two-hour evening workshop includes the first segment of this
video-based study. In addition to her personal appearance, Lotz
appears on the video with Dr. Henry Blackaby, author of Experiencing
God: Knowing and Doing the Will of God, and Dr. Crawford Loritts,
senior pastor of Fellowship Bible Church, Roswell, Ga. A number of
churches around the city may choose to do the video study.

Lotz has spoken for 30 years in seven continents and more than 30
cities throughout the United States. She is married to Dr. Dan Lotz.
Her followers are young and old, men and women, according to Tipps.
All are welcome to attend these events whether or not they are
Christians or involved in other religious organizations, she said.

All of the worship experiences are free, though offering baskets will
be passed. For information, please call Debbie Tipps at 713-458-4700
