ManKind Project of Austin hosts “Head, Heart, and Soul”

When: Saturday, October 20, 2007

Time: 1:30pm to 4:30pm

Location: City of Austin Public Library – Carver Branch, 1161 Angelina, Austin, TX, 78702 (between E. 11th Street and E. 12th Street by Rosewood Ave.)

What about: “It is a human sculpture that describes the physical and emotional growth of a human being. It shows the journey that a young child takes and how that child develops and adapts to life, family and society. It is a story of how various episodes in life affects all of us and what we do with those “happenings” is unique to all of us. It also shows that all of us are unique in what we deliver to family and society in a lifetime. It allows us to see places we might be “stuck” and also allows us to see how emotions might play out in our lives consciously or unconsciously. Some people see parts of themselves in the sculptor and some people see their whole life in this sculptor.”

ASL Interpretation will be provided (there will be several Deaf co-hosts as well).
