Hello, Houston Deaf Community,

There is another Deaf attorney who is coming to Houston next month, and he will give more information about Deaf rights and Laws. Here is the information as below:

Howard Rosenblum is a Senior Attorney at Equip for Equality, Illinois’ Protection and Advocacy, and has 15 years’ experience in disability rights and special education law. Mr. Rosenblum is co-founder and Chairperson of the Midwest Center on Law and the Deaf. He received a law degree from IIT/Chicago-Kent College of Law (1992) and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Arizona (1988).

Interpreters and real-time captioning will be provided. Any other assistive needs must be requested by October 29, 2007 to guarantee coordination.
