Job Description:
Rehabilitation Services Technician II The RST II works under the supervision of the Management Support Specialist with the approval of the Area Manager. Working collaboratively as a member of the rehabilitation team performs complex technical support work utilizing the DARS case management system to support the Rehabilitation counselor in providing timely services to consumers in order to achieve successful outcomes. Establishes and maintains appropriate business relationships with providers, consumers and staff. Provides: • Information regarding Division for Rehabilitation Services (DRS) programs, services and referral information; • Caseload support services to include caseload monitoring assistance to assigned counselors; purchasing of consumer equipment and supplies; assistance with consumer budget management utilizing automated systems and tools; caseload management support; purchasing and financial monitoring; interviewing applicants and collecting information to expedite quality case service delivery. Performs other duties as assigned to maintain the efficient and effective operation of the Unit. Work is performed in support of the Mission, Goals and Values of DRS. Work is performed under general supervision with latitude for initiative and independent judgment. Essential Job Functions:
Attends work on a regular and predictable schedule in accordance with agency leave policy and performs other duties as assigned. EJF 1. Provides office support as a member of the office team. (10%) EJF 2. Provides information regarding DRS Programs and services to applicants, consumers, families and the general public. (10%) EJF 3. Conducts consumer purchasing activities, in accordance with established policies, procedures and best business practices (25%) EJF 4. Provides assistance in caseload support and management. (45%) EJF 5. Provides assistance in consumer budget management (10%)

Skilled in effective oral and written communication. Skilled in personal computer operations performing keyboarding and mouse functions utilizing a personal computer in a Windows based environment. Initial Selection Criteria:
Minimum of twelve (12) months as an RST I maintaining an overall performance plan rating of “3”, and demonstration of the KSAs in the RST II position description. OR Eighteen (18) months experience in office practices and office support work utilizing a personal computer in a Windows’ based environment and demonstration of the KSAs in the RST II job description

Additional Information:
This is a career ladder position from RST II to RST IV. Salary and position level will be based on experience and demonstrated skills. Monthly salary range is $1920.50 to $3353.25 per month. The ability to communicate utilizing sign language at a converstional level is preferred. A demonstration of this skill be requested as part of the interview process.
