A MESSAGE FROM THE DAD PRESIDENT:
Dear Members and Friends of DAD,
I need to share a few things regarding this upcoming weekend’s events
at DAD:
DAD will be hosting its 1st Mixed Individual Bowling Tournament this
Saturday, November 10, 2007, in Garland. Please do click the

We are also excited to have Miss Deaf Texas, Katherine Murch, at DAD,
Saturday night, after the bowling tournament. It’s your opportunity to
meet and get to know this wonderful & intelligent young lady from
Corpus Christi. She has a great desire to become the next Miss Deaf
America in 2008. In order for her to accomplish this goal she needs
our support, financially. The Miss Deaf Texas Pageant (MDTP)
committee are planning a fundraiser at DAD.
Let’s show her our support in person; as well as, financially by
participating in the MDTP fundraiser. Please do see her flyer:

Also the Deaf Celebration Committee, chaired by Henry Whalen, will
have their meeting at DAD on Sunday, November 11, at 11:00am, if any
of you wish to come and participate.
Lastly, I regretfully need to inform you that the Winter Bazaar,
which was originally scheduled for this Sunday, is cancelled.
