ASL Interpreter Wanted – Denton

Is now accepting applications for

FULL TIME SIGN LANGUAGE INTERPRETER (two positions open)

SIGN LANGUAGE INTERPRETER (Office of Disability Accommodation).

One year of experience as a sign language interpreter, and DARS
(formerly TCDHH) at least a Level I certification; or comparable RID
Certification or other comparable state certification pending DARS
certification, and graduation from an accredited Interpreter Training
Program; graduation from high school or equivalent combination of
education, experience, and training. Dexterity and movement of hands
required for extended periods; good vision and hearing. Fluency in
American Sign Language; experience in a classroom setting preferred.
Position will assist with other office duties. Salary commensurate
with skills and experience.
