DEAN OF STUDENT SERVICES / SWCID (Southwest Collegiate Institute for
the Deaf)
EXPERIENCE AND OTHER QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Masters degree and 5
years related experience required. Ability to communicate fluently in
American Sign Language. Experience with collegiate extracurricular
activities, strong understanding of the deaf culture and strong
communication skills. Budget planning experience and knowledge of
testing and assessment used with the deaf.
DESCRIPTION OF JOB DUTIES: Coordinate and supervise Student Services,
Diagnostic Center, Residence Halls, Activity Center, and Maddux
Student Center. Develop, implement, enforce, review, evaluate and
modify policies and procedures relating to the Student Services
Division. Evaluate department personnel. Identify and develop program
needs and evaluate same. Develop and monitor departmental budget.
SALARY RANGE: $44,849 – $46,738
