CATHOLIC MASS IN AUSTIN
Fr. Tom Coughlin, newly transplanted Texan from San Antonio, will be
saying Mass for the Austin Deaf Catholics and friends on March 2,
2008 at 3:00 PM at St.
Ingatius Martyr Parish on 120 West Olforf, Austin, TX 78704, which is
only a mile south of Texas School for the Deaf on South Congress. For
many attending Deaf Nation Expo this is an opportunity to meet Fr.
Coughlin, America’s first Deaf Catholic priest. An accompanying photo
was taken in 1977 and he still looks young and always anxious to meet
old and new friends. Catholics or not.
