Walk, Roll & Read student organization

The purpose of Walk, Roll & Read is to advocate for students with
disabilities. It was founded during the 2007 – 2008 school year.

A conversation with Judy Babbitt and Steve Heying

Judy Babbitt is Disability Access Coordinator for the City of San
Antonio, and an expert at facilitating collaboration in implementing
accessibility transition plans. Steve Heying is the facilities manager
for the university. Requirements of the Americans with Disabilities
Act, the UIW accessibility survey, the UIW transition plan, and future
collaboration to increase accessibility will be discussed.

Rights of Workers with Disabilities

permanent employment! An attorney with Advocacy, Inc. will share
information about the rights of persons with disabilities during the
