RELIEF DIRECT SUPPORT

Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
Experience: The position of Relief Direct Support Professional is
located in the Developmental Disabilities division. The Relief Direct
Support Professional position provides services and supports to assist
consumers to live and participate successfully in their homes and
community, especially training in daily living skills. Assignments
involve supporting people with various challenges in-group home
settings, often without on-site direct supervision, requiring use of
initiative, knowledge of and access to community resources, and
independent judgment and problem solving. At least one (1) year
experience in computer application, Managed Care, mental retardation
and assisting the mobility impaired required.
Licenses: Current and valid Texas driver’s license and a clean
driving record required. Must be eligible for the Center’s driving
insurance. If chosen for an interview, must provide current (within 30
days) copy of driving record for consideration of position. Applicants
being considered for this position will be required to participate in
the Center’s Controlled Substance Testing Program.
Hours: Various Hours & Days.
Salary: $9.19 per hour.

in the Developmental Disabilities division. The Community Support
Professional position provides services and supports to assist
consumers to live and participate successfully in their homes and
community, especially training in daily living skills. Assignments
involve supporting people with various challenges in-group home
settings, often without on-site direct supervision, requiring use of
initiative, knowledge of and access to community resources, and
independent judgment and problem solving. At least one (1) year
experience in computer application, Managed Care, mental retardation
and assisting the mobility impaired required.
