TSD Class of 2009 – Please Help Support Us!

April 3, 2008

To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing you on the behalf of the Class of 2009, a non-profit
student organization at Texas School for the Deaf. The Junior Class of
2009 will learn about leadership by hosting special events and
fundraising activities. This will help them escalate their leadership
experience and earn some money towards their events or goals: for
example, prom, senior trip, graduation gown/cap, and so forth.

On Saturday, May 17th, 2008, the Class of 2009 is proud to present
the prom for Texas School for the Deaf. This exciting event will take
place on campus at the Seeger Gym. Instead of having the prom setting
as a recreation center, the juniors are hoping to discover a way to
alter the scene by renting a tent and change the image into
Hollywood’s famous red carpet theme. Our goal is to achieve that
dream which will bring wonder to the students’ eyes on their special
night that they will never forget.

The Class of 2009 has a high fundraising goal and would appreciate
your financial sponsorship. We have already started fundraising by
selling floats and providing a party for Valentine’s Day on campus.
Your contribution of any amount would greatly help the Class of 2009
reach their goal in time for the special event. In return for your
generosity, the Class of 2009 will be placing the names of each
business involved with the event in the prom’s program book.

Thank you for taking the time to read this letter. We hope you
consider on making a donation. If you have any questions regarding tax
write-off, please contact Brett Waltman at

and any questions or need further information, please contact me at

.

Sincerely,

Michaela Hargens
