The Mayor’s Office for People with Disabilities is currently looking
to fill a Community Liaison position. The person in this position will
primarily assist citizens with disabilities with finding resources and
providing information and referrals. This position will also entail
some community outreach activites and other community projects as
assigned such as participation in helping to plan the Housing and
Employment Resources Expo.
Qualified candidates MUST have at least two years of work experience
in a community organizational or social work setting, such as
providing information and referral services to clients, AND a
bachelor’s degree. Experience may be substituted for education on a
year to year basis. I am especially hoping to find someone who is
bilingual. Previous experience in a social work setting providing
services to people with disabilities is also a plus.
