Place: Lecture Hall at McLennan Community College, Waco, TX
Time: 9am—4pm Lunch will be provided by CSD
Cost:
$20 for any member of TSID (state or local chapters) or any RID
member*
$30 for nonmembers
RID & BEI CEU’s approved!
Registration will begin at 8:15am on the morning of Sept. 20th and

Workshop Description:
This workshop is designed for interpreters desiring to work in
medical situations.If you have an interest in medical interpreting,
but lack the experience and/or confidence to do so, this is the place
for you.
In addition to medical vocabulary and ethical considerations, role
play scenarios will be used to give interpreters some simulated
medical interpreting experience. While this workshop alone will not
qualify you for any and all medical settings, it will provide you
with basic knowledge that will make your entrance smoother. Come join
us for a fun and relaxed day of learning!
