About the Presenter
John Evans is deaf and attended both mainstream schools and the state
school for the deaf. He has been with the State of Washington for more
than 24 years serving in a variety of positions such as a Vocational
Rehabilitation Counselor, Business Relations Specialist, and Employer
Relations Program Administrator, his current position. Mr. Evans also
worked as a Reasonable Accommodation Specialist with the State
Department of Personnel where he served as a statewide consultant and
employee development trainer to employer representatives.
