Interpreted and Captioned Christmas Eve Service – 9pm – Dallas
The Deaf, Hard of Hearing and Hearing members of Lovers Lane United
Methodist Church invites the Deaf and their hearing family and friends
to our 9pm Christmas Eve service, Wednesday, December 24th.
This service will be interpreted in ASL and will include signing
“Silent Night” by the Lovers Lane Sign Choir. We will also serve
Holy Communion, which will be led and signed by the pastor of the
Deaf, Rev. Tom Hudspeth.
A seating area will be reserved for our Deaf guests and their
families, which will be at the front, on the left side of the
sanctuary. Guest parking is available at the Northwest Highway
entrance to the church.
LIVE Captioning will also be provided at the 7pm, 9pm and 11pm
worship services as a benefit for our hard of hearing guests and those
for whom English is a second language. We have set up a screen on the
left side of the sanctuary for captioning.
