Staff Interpreter
DESCRIPTION:
Function as Community and Staff Interpreter daily. Complete all
necessary forms for all assignments and submit to Interpreter
Coordinator. Carry the Emergency Pager as assigned. Provide
interpreting administrative duties as needed. Attend staff meetings,
workshop training and conferences as assigned. Demonstrate a positive
attitude and a willingness to show cooperation and support for
co-workers.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of two years college education in interpreting/related field
or two years experience in interpreting.
Must be a certified interpreter (Texas BEI Level III/Advanced or RID
Advanced) and have fluent expressive and receptive skills using ASL.
Monday thru Friday, 8:00 a.m.—5:00 p.m.
