Deaf infants and young children wanted for cognitive development
research projects

Deaf Infants and Young Children (months to 5 year-olds) who are ASL
users are wanted for language learning and attention research studies.
Testing will be done in our Cognitive Development Lab at the
University of Houston.
If your family is coming from outside of Houston, we will pay for gas
mileage both ways. In addition, you will be given tickets to one of
Houston area attractions (i.e. Houston Zoo or Children’s Museum).
Your child may be eligible if h/she:
1) is severely to profoundly deaf
2) uses American Sign Language and
3) does not have additional disabilities.
