ASL and Africa

Hello, I am searching for a partner within the Deaf Community to
assist me in

presenting a powerpoint presentation on a human rights issue in
Africa. If you

know of a Deaf individual seeking to earn extra cash, please have him
or her

contact at the email address posted at the end of this message. I
already have

the powerpoint slides and the YouTube videos (2 short 1-2 minutes). I
am an ASL

student in San Antonio, Texas, and I want to work with someone who is
fluent in

ASL.

The powerpoint presentation would run approximately 10 minutes maybe
15

minutes the max and be presented the first week in May 2009. I will
be graded

on the ASL interpretation and need my partner to manage the
powerpoint slides as

I execute the presentation in ASL. If anyone is interested in earning
extra

cash and willing to meet with me at least once a week on Saturdays am
or pm and

assist me in learning the specific ASL interpretation to the
powerpoint

presentation, the job is theirs. I could have selected a much more
simple

presentation in ASL but I am a human rights’ advocate and very
passionate about

raising public awareness for those suffering and dying in Africa.

Thank you and God Bless.

Mia Gonzalez
