YEARBOOKS
We are selling the yearbooks for $65.00 now before May 31, 2009. Then
it will ( increase ) raise up to $75.00 dollars from June 1, 2009 to
December 31, 2009.
Better start saving money $10.00 or $20.00 every month until you make
it up to $65.00 then send us the personal check or money order. Please
put the name “Reunion 2010” on your personal check or money order.
Why $65.00 dollars??? Is it expensive to you? Think twice.
Our SWCID Reunion 2010 yearbook will have a hard cover that can last
longer than soft cover. The book will have 400 pages and we need to
sell more than 100 books. To keep memory of SWCID history. The
yearbook will have color and white/black, Mrs Burke will write the
SWCID History, why did Dr. Douglas Burke decide to set up ( establish
) a deaf college in Big Spring, Texas? What made him think of that?
There are many questions to ask. Mrs. Burke, she will write a longer
story about SWCID. Also the yearbook will contain the past and present
of SWCID buildings, and college student pictures past and present.,
Miss SWCID Pageant from 1980 to present, SGA/SBG, and pictures to
share memory. Many things to keep memories of SWCID.
I hope it is clear to you that why we have 400 pages. $65.00 is worth
it about SWCID history. Plus the weight of the book cost the stamp for
package to be mailed to you at your hometown. Remember the stamp is
not going to be the same price forever. Lisa Wynn went to post office
and ask them if stamp will go up. They said yes the stamps will go up
in May 2009. Remember the stamp will go up in 2010 or 2011. We did not
know how much did it will cost.
For your last chance. Please hurry to buy the SWCID Reunion 2010
yearbook. $65.00 is better than $75.00. Up to you. That is your
decision. Do you agree with me about SWCID Reunion historic about
SWCID in past and student. Also I added the word that since in 1980 to
2000. There were not much deaf SWCID pictures in yearbook, there were
few so we want to have a lot of deaf SWCID Pictures.
Also the yearbook will have pictures of sport activities, parties,
socials, dorm, — remember any pictures are welcome. Send your

PICTURES
I need your pictures. Any pictures are welcome. You took the pictures
in SWCID from 1980 to present.. Please send them to us. So Haden, and
Rungsit will scan all of the pictures. Remember please write it down
to put what activities, what date, and who are they.

SPORTS
We need your help. We just put the idea about sports as softball
team, bowling games, racquetball games, horseshoes games, “horse”
basketball games. What else do you want. Please send the email – the
vote which do you like to play. We need to know how many people are
interesting to play games. Also, if you bring your kids and your kid
are welcome to particular the games. Everyone are welcome to have
enjoy the games. We will send the sport forms. So we can enjoy the
games on Friday and Saturday. That also depends on how many people
will come and depend on who will come Friday or Saturday. Saturday the
games will end at 4 p.m. We will see what everyond says in meeting on
February 27, 2009 with the Provost Mark and other staff too. We will
announce on next new update.

Combo
We will make new combo after we have meeting with SWCID Reunion
committee and SWCID Staff. The SWCID dorm have 96, this will be based
on a first come first serve basis. Until the dorm are full, then there
have 6 different hotel / motels in Big Spring, Texas. We will try to
ask Cheryl (Provost of Howard College) to see what she will say about
allowing us to sleep at the Howard College dorms also. There will have
more room to sleep if there are more than 500 people to come. After
the meeting we will announce new update and new information. We will
email everybody and spread the news to everybody. We will have an
early bird combo for the dorm limit and Saturday limit.
