Hi all,
I’m about to sign a lease for an apartment in The Village at
Riverside on Crossing Place Avenue, which is about a 10 minute bus
ride from the UT campus.
I’m signing for an apartment with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Each
roommate would have his/her own lease. As of right now, it is possible
that my current roommate will take one of the other 3 rooms, but if
not, that leaves 3 rooms available.
It would be great having a Deaf roommate–especially a UT Deaf
roommate, but if you know anyone in Austin who uses sign language and
needs a roommate, please do respond off list to me!
A little about myself: I’ve recently graduated from Gallaudet with a
BA in English and Education. I’m in my second semester here at UT in
the MA/PhD program for English. I’m 23 years old, a non-smoker, laid
back but serious about my work, and love to run, hike, camp, bike,
swim.. any sort of outdoorsy or exercise program 🙂
