Mildred Lucille Williamson Nov. 12, 1912 – Feb. 20, 2009 Mildred
Lucille Williamson, age 96, passed away Friday, February 20, 2009. She
was born in Commerce, Texas to Lula Maud and Ola Doss Alexander. She
became deaf at two years old from diphenhydramie with very high fever.
She attended deaf-oral school in Dallas for two years, and then
transferred to Texas School for the Deaf in Austin in 1920 and was in
the class of 1933.

She was married to Hubert Williamson on June 21, 1942 and were
married for 53 years. She was preceded in death by her husband on
December 8, 1997. Mildred is survived by three children, daughter,
Linda Nunn of Dale, TX; and two sons, John Williamson of San Marcos,
TX and Rodney Williamson of Austin, TX; six grandchildren, ten
great-grandchildren, two great- great-grandchildren and two great-
great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday,
February 25, 2009 at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home, 6300 W.
William Cannon Drive. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m.
Thursday, February 26, 2009 at Southern Hills Church of Christ, 3740
RR 967 in Buda, Texas with Randy Consford officiating. Interment will
follow at 2:00 p.m. at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery, 14501 N.
IH-35 in Pflugerville. Honoring Mildred as pallbearers will be James
Goolsby, Tom Cowan, Ron Hovingna, Johnny Dominik, Kent Kenedy, David
Suddath and Dennis Gage.
