MORE: TSD honors two well-known pioneers in deaf track and field and
hosts this second annual USA Deaf Track & Field meet here in Austin.
Ruth Taubert Seeger – a member of the Texas Women’s Hall of Fame
because of her athletic accomplishments, and Thomas O. Berg – thought
by many to be “the greatest coach in deaf track and field
history”, have been invited to kick-off the event. Members of the
2009 USA Deaflympics Team will be scouting qualified athletes for the
summer games in Taipei this September.

With TSD’s educational excellence and a strong belief in culture
