POSITION:
Special Teacher – Deaf/Hard of Hearing
Certification in Science, Language Arts, EBD, or Math
LOCATION: MN State Academy for the Deaf, Faribault, MN
DUTIES: Provide instruction to students so that they may progress
satisfactorily; prepare short and long-term goals and objectives for
individual students through the IEP process; participate in student
staffings, behavior program planning and parent conferences.
QUALIFICATIONS: Possession of or eligibility to obtain a valid
Minnesota Teacher’s License with deaf/hard of hearing Certification;
certification in subject area (one or more of the above). Advanced
sign communication required.
SALARY: $ 19.53-37.10/hour; $32,030-60,845/year depending on years of
experience and degree held.
