program that supports people with disabilities with independence goals!
ASSET (Active Service Solutions for Economic Transition), administered by
Easter Seals Central Texas, is seeking qualified applicants to serve as Team
Leaders for its AmeriCorps members throughout Texas. Available positions are
Assistive Technology Team Leader and Housing Team Leader.
Team Leaders will develop informational resources and outreach materials for
the ASSET*AmeriCorps program, statewide resources to be disseminated to the
statewide team, as well as coordinate communication between members at the
different sites across the state facilitating problem-solving and the
exchange of information between sites.
ASSET Team Leaders will serve from October 1st, 2010 through August 31st,
2011, and will receive a living allowance of $11,800. Additionally, they
will be eligible for health insurance, child care, and an education award of
