Texas Interpreting Operations
It is with great pleasure that we announce Kent Kennedy as the new Texas
Operations Manager. In addition to continuing his role overseeing Centers
of Excellence for Texas, Kent will be assuming the administrative functions
of Interpreting. Kent will serve as CSD’s state representative, manage and
supervise Texas COE field office and Texas Interpreting Operations and will
manage the departmental budgets to ensure quality of services for consumers,
personnel resources and facilities within the day to day activities of the
divisions while supporting the mission of CSD through the efficient use of
the organization’s programmatic, financial and human resources.
Sharon Morell will be assuming a role as Assistant Interpreting Operations
Manager in which her main responsibilities will be to promote, direct and
coordinate marketing and customer service activities within Interpreting
Operations which includes networking and building CSD brand recognition.
Sharon will serve as a liaison between interpreters and CSD’s National
Interpreting Referral Manager to ensure any and all areas of concern are
addressed in a timely manner.
