Job Description

Brief summary of duties:

The Outreach Specialist will spend at least 80% of their time making contact
in the community in order to obtain customers by educating about Purple
Communications products and services. The Outreach Specialist will also be
responsible for the installation or training of products and features. The
specialist will ensure the follow up of superb customer service, to ensure
customer loyalty.

* 80% of the time will be focusing on selling Company products and services
* Is responsible for prospecting new customers in residential and consumer
accounts.
* Aggressively hunt for new business opportunities using creative sales
methods while managing the entire sales process from prospecting to close.
* Collaborate with manager to develop a strategic plan to generate leads
through prospecting multiple sources such as: cold calling, guerilla
marketing, field events, referrals, and email campaigns.
* Build a healthy opportunity sales pipeline to achieve and exceed
weekly/monthly/annual sales quota
* Develop and deliver comprehensive sales presentations tailored to the
needs of the individual consumer to showcase our cutting edge solutions.
* Prospect, qualify, solidify relationships, overcome objections, and close
new accounts; proactively follow up with potential buyers and create urgency
to grow customer base.
* Manufacture and nurture relationships with existing accounts to cultivate
referrals for new business opportunities.
* Provide ongoing support to customer base to ensure customer satisfaction.
* Become a subject matter expert by acquiring ongoing marketplace
intelligence by researching trends and competitors, reading technology
publications, seeking out learning and development opportunities, and
utilizing internal resources.
* Expect to follow customer standard process
* Will manage device inventory to sell to the customers
* Educate customers on how to use our service
* Installation of endpoint devices
* Provide technical support in the field (home residence and large accounts)
as needed
* Other duties as assigned

* Knowledge of American Sign Language and Deaf Culture
* Active in the community and energetic team player
* Highly motivated, honest and committed
* Knowledge of, and experience with, providing technology support
* Comfortable with teaching others
* Effective teaching and communication skills
* Able to produce reports regarding installation, feedback, etc
* Good time management skills
* Strong work ethic
* Ability to maintain confidentiality of customers
* Strong presentation skills
* Troubleshooting any issue that may arise
* Computer and Software literacy
* Experience with any other video phone devices
* Welcoming and enthusiastic personality
* Is self-assured and confident in a variety of settings. Has a strong
belief in own capabilities.
* Able to work a variety of hours/shifts
* Able to travel to customers’ homes or events as needed.
