Volunteers Needed for Deaf Tax 2012 – Houston

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR DEAFTAX 2012- HOUSTON

The City of Houston’s Mayor’s Office for People with Disabilities and the
Internal Revenue Services (IRS) are partnering to provide free tax for the
Deaf and Hard of Hearing. In order for this be successful, we need
volunteers! Volunteers need to be fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) to
communicate with the deaf and hard of hearing tax payers. We are offering a
tax training session for all volunteers who want to become a certified tax
preparer.

Tax Training Information:

Date: Wednesday and Thursday, January 18th and 19th, 2012

Where: Metropolitan Multi-Service Center, 1475 W. Gray St., Houston, TX
77019

Time: 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm
