Interpreted Martin Luther King ceremonies – San Antonio

Come join people of faiths at the

Martin Luther King Interfaith Ceremony and (free) dinner

Sunday, January 20, 2013

St. Mark’s Episcopal Church
315 East Pecan Street
San Antonio, Texas

This is north across the street from the VIA bus transfer area in Travis Park.

Plan to be there from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m.

All events have free admission.

The City of San Antonio has honored our request that the Interfaith Service be interpreted into American Sign Language, and the City is also providing an interpreter for the Martin Luther King Day ceremonies the following day (Monday, January 21) as well.

The Interfaith Service begins at 4:00 p.m. It is a unique service with representatives of many faiths sharing prayers and participating in the service.

Please plan to arrive around 3:00 p.m. to get a seat. If you are bringing a car, you need to arrive very early to get a parking space in the St. Mark’s Episcopal Parking lot which is between the church and Broadway.

Dinner is provided free of charge; plan to stay until about 7:00 p.m. to enjoy the dinner and fellowship.
