Obituary: Frankie Sue Widner

Frankie Sue Widner passed away February 16, 2013. For some interpreters in Northeast Texas, she was their first ASL instructor. She worked as an ASL instructor and Deaf Interpreter for over 30 years, and she had a long career at Trinity Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler.

Visitation will be held Saturday, February 23, 2013 from 6-8pm at Stewart Family Funeral Home, 7525 Old Jacksonville Hwy, Tyler, TX, US, 75703, (903) 581-2008. The funeral will be held Sunday, February 24th at 1:30pm at the same location, followed by a burial service in Tyler.

Afterwards, everyone is invited to a pot luck meal at New Covenant Church in Tyler, 714 Shelley Drive. If you are not able to bring food, you are still welcome to come to visit with family and friends after the funeral. If anyone chooses to bring food and needs to drop it off early at the church, you are welcome to do so. Sunday morning services are finished at 12:15 so you may come in and leave your items if needed prior to the funeral beginning at 1:30. Paper goods, utensils, and coffee will be provided by the church.

The family would like to know who will be able to participate in the meal after the services.
