NOTE TO CURRENT MEMBERS:
For those who already filled out the member profile, send us an email indicating your interest in attending the mini-conference and you will be given instructions to go directly to registration. Be sure to inform DFW-ASLTA of any changes in YOUR member profile as this could affect your receiving DFW-ASLTA email.
NOTE TO THOSE WHO ARE NOT YET MEMBERS:
You do need to become member to register for the conference. Go to http://www.dfw-aslta.org and click on DFW-ASLTA Membership that includes a short form and PayPal link to pay the membership fee of $25.00. Upon completion, you can go directly to the April 2014 Mini-Conference.

At the end of this flyer, see the letter explaining the value of this mini conference for professional growth. You can share this with your department chair, principal, or professional growth/development coordinator as it will help them justify the time release from your class. As each campus is different, find out and follow their procedure for arrangements.
CEU / CPE FEES
The CEU/CPE fee ($23) is separate from the registration and goes directly to UTA Dept. of Continuing Education. Upon completion of the 15 hours of participation, a certificate will be sent to you at your address that you provided on your form.
REGISTRATION FEES
The registration fee includes a certificate of participation, all presentations and handouts (as provided by the
presenters), registration packet, four meals (Friday supper, Friday night social after the last presentation, light
Saturday breakfast, Saturday lunch, and Saturday supper), some snacks, admission to Dr. Byron Bridges’ Saturday night entertainment, and Saturday night social after the entertainment).
Upon completing your registration, you will receive an invoice from PayPal as a proof of your registration.

NOTE: The above registration fees are very good and includes more features compared to the following:
TEXAS FOREIGN LANGUAGE ASSOCIATION (TFLA) At their recent conference, for the early bird registration it was a total of $160 to $210 (not including membership). This includes only two lunches and a reception. Regular registration was higher.
TEXAS SOCIETY OF INTERPRETERS FOR THE DEAF (TSID) At their recent conference, for the early bird registration it was $195 to $225 for members and $250 to $335 for non-members. This includes a reception and only two meals (lunch and banquet). Regular registration was higher.
