Arrive in Miltenberg late morning for a walking tour of this delightful old town, with its narrow cobblestone streets and steeply gabled houses. During lunch, the ship will cruise to Freudenberg. Cruise through the narrow Strudengau and reach the Wachau Valley early this morning. A guided tour takes you to Melk’s magnificent Benedictine Abbey, one of Europe’s largest Baroque monasteries. There, you will see the blue facade of the Baroque Stiftskirche and the castle ruins where Richard the Lionhearted was once imprisoned, high above the town.
