TSD: Vibes – A Night to Feel the Music, presented by Domino’s

Vibes: A Night to Feel the Music, presented by Domino’s

Austin, Texas – October 9, 2014 Thanks to Austin advertising agency, LatinWorks, and corporate sponsorship from Domino’s Pizza, the Texas School for the Deaf (TSD) tonight benefits from a free, live concert hosted at the North Door at 502 Brushy Street, just east of interstate 35 in downtown Austin, at 6:00 pm.

Working closely with the Texas School for The Deaf, LatinWorks quickly pulled in other top local talent to produce a multi-sensory concert event and provide TSD students and the Austin-area Deaf community with a music experience that will transcend sound by incorporating vibrations and a light display synchronized to the beats.

The exciting interactive event, showcases a stellar talent lineup from some of Austin’s most celebrated acts including rock band Quiet Company, husband and wife hip-hop duo Riders Against The Storm, and electronic trio The Shears, as well as music performed and interpreted through American Sign Language by TSD alumnus and actor Russell Harvard, most recently recognized for his role on the hit FX television series “Fargo”.

With Harvard as the night’s emcee, “Vibes: A Night to Feel the Music” will take you on a thoroughly engaging, tactile journey. Cultivating a full-body experience, the venue will be outfitted with a special wooden floor that will react to a series of custom low frequency speakers arranged throughout to create vibrations the audience can feel. A dynamic light show timed with the rhythm of the live performances will also add a thrilling visual component to the music experience.

Guests will also experience the music with special LED equipped bracelets designed to flash in tune to the music. Real-time social media content will be captured on the venue’s LCD screens, allowing concert goers to engage in the conversation throughout the night.
