Adopt Amelia Manor Sponsorship 2015

January 17, 2015

Dear friend;

Amelia Manor Nursing Home is considered the home state headquarters for deaf and deafblind residents in Lafayette, Louisiana, Heart of Acadiana. It is located at 903 Center Street, just a few steps away from Teurlings Catholic High School surrounded by beautiful cozy countryside.

The program for the deaf and deafblind was first established by Paulette Forrest-Guthrie, devoted volunteer two years ago. Visibly, under the direction of Glynis Kibodeaux, it has expanded to improve the quality of lives to deaf and deafblind residents as a second home. As a result, Amelia Manor Nursing Home has the largest incident of deaf and deafblind residents in the state of Louisiana. Subsequently, I was hired this year as case manager to assist with the quickly growing population.

As Case Manager, I’d like to kindly request your assistance by inviting you to sponsor us for one-year. “Adopt Amelia Manor 2015” financial assistance will defray cost of the following:

• Arts and Crafts/Materials
• Fuel for transportation (wherever they wish to go for their pleasures)
• Accessories/Games
• Monthly cook-out assisted by the Fellowship
• Much more

The one-year sponsorship of “Adopt Amelia Manor 2015” will be effective now until December 31, 2015. Any amount you would like to donate would be greatly appreciated. Individuals, businesses and organizations are encouraged to sponsor.

Premium Sponsorship Categories Include:

Heart of Gold: Those whom pledge one hundred dollars ($100.00) or more, will be recognized on the hallway of deaf and deafblind unit

Compassionate Hearts: Those who pledge five hundred dollars ($500.00) or more will be recognized on the hallway of deaf and deafblind unit, acknowledgement during Helen Keller DeafBlind Awareness, Deaf/DeafBlind gatherings, and also monthly newsletter.
