Life insurance + love: Two things that belong together

Whether it’s for an entire family, a special relative, a spouse, or even a business partner, people purchase life insurance for one reason—to make sure the people they care about will have a bright and secure future.

Consider this fact: 75% of Americans say the main reason you buy life insurance is because you love your family. So there’s no denying that life insurance and love go hand-in-hand.

But sometimes wanting the best for your loved ones isn’t enough. According to our recent Gap study, 60% of people surveyed believe they have enough life insurance, while in fact, only 20% actually have enough to meet their needs.

With that in mind, we’ve partnered with Life Happens to raise awareness and encourage people to show their love through the gift of life insurance. Because no matter what stage of life you’re in—single, starting a family, getting ready for retirement, or already enjoying your golden years—life insurance can help provide security and peace of mind.

So, where to start? Contact your New York Life agent. He or she can listen to your needs and help design an insurance plan that’s right for you and the people you love.
