Services for Richard Lee Allen, 51, of Hawkins will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, August 6, 2015 at Hawkins Cemetery. Mr. Allen passed away Monday, August 3, 2015 in a Tyler hospital.

Mr. Allen was born August 26, 1963 in Dallas to Richard Hunter Sr. and Mildred Estalene Jeffus Allen. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Jacksonville.

He survived by his father, Richard Hunter Allen, Sr. of Savoy, TX; mother, Estalene Warren and step-father, John of Hawkins; brothers, Jamie Shipley of Greenville and Richard Hunter “AJ’’ Allen, Jr. of Savoy, TX; sisters, Sherri “Allen” Frith and husband, Bruce of West Monroe, LA, Terry “Allen” Dyess and husband, Buddy of West Monroe, LA, and Jennifer “Angel” Allen of Bells, TX; nephews, Tommy Lee Moorehead, III of Van Alstyne, TX, Bradley Thomas, Chad Thomas, Clayton Thomas all of Blue Ridge, TX and Willie Thomas and wife, Tiffany of Gunner, TX; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

Ricky Allen attended at W.W. Samuel High School in Dallas, Texas and Texas School for the Deaf (TSD) around 1984’s.
