Needed: Actors Who Know ASL – Austin

I am producing a commercial for the Arts and Humanities Division of Austin Community College. We are seeking to inform the community about the opportunities at the college for the deaf, and for the hearing who want to learn
American Sign Language and share in deaf culture.

I need three actors who are conversant in ASL, including those who are fluent and those who are advanced learners. I will consider both deaf and hearing actors. No children, but otherwise all ages, genders and ethnicities are
encouraged to apply.

The HD video will be shot in Austin. I expect the shoot to take one day. The audition and shoot dates are to be determined.

Actors will be paid. Meals, snacks, beverages will be provided. Email headshots and resumes (JPGs accepted), with a note on your level of fluency in ASL, to John Herndon at [email protected]
