DSA 2017 Conference – Houston

The Countdown Has Begun!

Now that the 2015 Deaf Seniors of America conference that was held in North Carolina has concluded, planning is well under way for the 2017 DSA conference. This conference, which is set to take place in sunny Houston, TX, presently has close to 400 participants registered, with numbers steadily growing.

Online hotel reservations are now being accepted at the conference hotel, Westin Galleria, as the conference headquarters. Overflow hotel reservations can be made at Westin Oaks Houston at the Galleria. Hotel reservation requests can be found in our website. Reservations via phone, for both hotels at 888-627-8514, are also being accepted but be sure to mention you are with the DSA 2017 Houston Conference to receive the conference rate. Due to the contractual agreement, anyone wishing to stay at the conference hotels, needs to reserve no less than seven (7) nights. Anyone wanting to stay less than 7 nights will need to wait until further notice.

The committees are busy planning a week full of activities, which will include sight-seeing tours, golf tournament and deep sea fishing on Monday and Tuesday! The tentative conference schedule is now available on our website. Be sure to check the website often for updates and further conference details!

As a fundraiser, we will be selling raffle tickets with 3 prizes:  Grand Prize, 7-Night Accommodation at Westin Galleria; 2nd Prize, $500 Shopping Spree at Nordstrom Department Store and 3rd Prize, $250 Dining Certificate at Del Frisco’s Steakhouse. Each ticket is $5 or you can purchase 10 tickets for $35, a savings of $15. Winning names will be videotaped and announced on February 2, 2017. Both the$250 combo rate and easy pay payment will end December 31, 2015.
