Search for suspect in Dallas teen rape continues

DALLAS – Police say a male suspect abducted and sexually assaulted a 14-year-old girl who was on her way home from school last Thursday.
The victim is deaf, and investigators say it’s possible the unidentified man used that to his advantage.
According to a Dallas police bulletin, at 6 p.m. on Dec. 10, the victim got off the school bus at 500 8th Street, where she was approached by an man wearing a ski mask who grabbed her by the arm and forced her to walk three blocks to Lake Cliff Park at 1200 North Zang Boulevard.

Police say the man sexually abused the girl in the park, then fled the location when he heard people approaching.
The suspect is described as a black man between 18 and 21 years old, approximately six feet tall and 250 lbs. At the time of the offense, he was wearing black sweat pants, a black hoodie, and a black ski mask. The victim also told police the suspect had blue eyes and was possibly wearing colored contact lenses.
