Trouble Puppet Theater Co. reimagines Melville’s classic: Ishmael heads to the sea to soothe his restless spirit, and ends up on a whaling ship captained by the mysterious Ahab. Will Ahab’s vision lead the crew to whaling glory or a watery grave?
The show is created by the award-winning company (“one of the most revered theater companies in the city” —Austin Chronicle) that brought Austin award-winning productions of The Jungle, Riddley Walker, Toil and Trouble, The Cruel Circus, The Head, Hyde & Jekyll, Wars of Heaven: Part I, and Frankenstein.
Featuring a live score by Montopolis’s Justin Sherburn with whales created by Seth White and Connor Hopkins.
ASL interpretation by Emily Perzan for Saturday, October 27, 2016 at 8pm performance.
