Once again, Houston Bass Club of the Deaf, Inc. is proud to host the 4th Annual Jr. Anglers Tournament slated on April 15, 2017 at Mary Jo Peckham Park located in Katy, Texas. This 32 acres pond is an opportunity for kids 2 years old to 17 years old to challenge their age category of how many fishes being caught. It does not matter the size of fishes but the fishes itself being caught and weigh in. Winner in the age categories of 2-5 years old, 6-13 years old and 14-17 years old will win awards ranging from 1st, 2nd and 3rd places as well prizes. This is a fun event that the parents can be part of it and to enjoy family involvements. This is a free events for all deaf, Hard of Hearing (HH), Deaf Blind and hearing kids (that are from CODA, and Interpreter families). There will be items provided to kids which was contributed by Corporations, Organizations and Individuals that make this a possibility every year. Lunch will be provided as well to all.

HBCD main objection is to give back to the community and that is why this Jr. Anglers Tournament are always part of it.
