Job Description: The Specialized Telecommunications Assistance Program (STAP) Manager is hired by, is accountable and reports to the Director and performs moderately complex (journey-level) managerial work administering the daily operations and activities of the Office of Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services Specialized Telecommunications Assistance Program (STAP). Work involves establishing goals and objectives; developing guidelines, procedures, rules, and regulations; developing schedules, priorities, and standards for achieving established goals; coordinating and evaluating business function, STAP activities; and monitoring budget expenditures. Plans, assigns, and supervises the work of others. Works under general supervision, with limited latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
