Workshop divided into two segments:

Segment 1: Chamber 101

  • What is a chamber of commerce?
  • Who runs the chamber and who are the members?
  • What does a chamber do for the community?

Texas Deaf Chamber board members and experts with SCORE organization will be present to answer questions after this segment (presentation) concludes.

Segment 2: Primer on Texas Deaf Chamber of Commerce

  • What is the mission and purpose of Texas Deaf Chamber of Commerce?
  • Who are the members and how they can qualify?
  • Regional Representatives and Regions
  • Programs
  • Volunteers

Deaf & HOH business owners, agencies and organizations are encouraged to participate in the 2nd segment to learn more about the new chamber for the Texas Deaf community.
